1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through doors with its narrow design, it's also one of the most light double buggies available on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. It's ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler because you won't be able to over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It also folds up to the size of a backpack so you can tuck it away in the back of your car when it's not when you're not using it.
It's easy to fold the Z-shape with one hand. Once you get used to it, it's compact and only takes seconds. However, our tester found the auto lock a bit confusing and as the handlebar doesn't lock into position when you press it, it hit her legs when she was using it. She also thought the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is especially the case when a large changing bag hangs from it.
The double stroller isn't as lightweight as other travel buggies. It has a full range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and offers multiple recline positions, and a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to one or both seats to make this an ideal travel system.
The four rubber composite wheels are ideal for pavements and urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. They struggled with long grass and gravel and there's a lack of space between the wheel and bracket so mud was able to get stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle and was able to climb some beautiful hillocks that were muddy.

It's not as simple to drive on public transport, however, as it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It's also large and will not fit into a standard car boot without the seat on, however this can be overcome by careful planning. iCandy has included an infant footmuff and a changing bag in the price, making this an excellent value package for new parents.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning in the middle of a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to fit individual needs - ideal for napping.
They also appreciated the fact that the hoods could be moved back and forward, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. They didn't offer as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth packing an extra rain cover in case.
Overall, our testers loved the way that Nipper Double let them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to running to the park for a playdate. The testers were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. Our testers did mention that the lack of a parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage and they would have liked to see more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
